Provision of Temporary Workers
TEMPORARY WORK COMPANIES (Empresas de Trabajo Temporal, or ETTs its acronym in Spanish): They are for profit privately owned companies which make available for other companies personnel which has been originally hired by them. The workers are ceded temporarily through an “Availability Placing” contract.
How Does It Work?
GENTEALDIA has as clients, on one hand a series of serviced user companies and on the other hand a list of job demanding potential employees. When the serviced company requires new working personnel to perform some work or service, they solicit them to GENTEALDIA and GENTEALDIA then performs a search in their database of potential eligible candidates for those that respond to the requested profile.
For GENTEALDIA it is fundamental that the client feels comfortable with the temporary personnel that will be under their service, and it is because of this that a threesome of candidates that fit the profile are forwarded and it is the client which selects their temporary workers.
As previously commented the company that hires the worker is the ETT, but it can occur that the serviced company likes some specific worker and decides to hire him indefinitely at the end of the temporal work period.
Advantages of Provision of Temporary Workers:
- It reduces hiring and selection costs.
- It optimizes the response time in the substitution of personnel to be hired and/or replaced.
- It reduces the number of labor situations due to lawsuits.
- It solves those periods of worker layoff prohibition with a low labor related risk.
- It widens the hiring possibilities.
